Virginia Humanities

The Virginia Humanities "connects people and ideas to explore the human experience and inspire cultural engagement." [1] They sponsor many events including the Festival of the Book and Encyclopedia Virginia. The organization was formed in 1974. [2]

The organization is set to move its headquarters into the Dairy Central building. [3]

Funding

In July, the VFH announced that Encyclopedia Virginia received a $1 million gift. [4]
