Verulam Farm is an historic farm west of Charlottesville. Built in 1936, the farm hosts events and breeds Belgian Friesan horses[1].
The construction of Interstate 64 divided the farm. The Virginia Department of Transportation built a tunnel under the highway so the farmer could move cattle to pasture on the farm's south end. Today, that tunnel is actively used by wildlife to cross the highway[2].
