James E. Adams

James E. Adams was police chief in Charlottesville in 1955 during investigation of the murder Eleanor Rose Rhodes, 34, whose battered body was discovered Monday morning, September 26, along Cabell Avenue just off Preston Avenue. [1] He was police chief in 1960. [2]
