Indoor Biotechnologies
Indoor Biotechnologies is an immunodiagnostics and biotechnology company specializing in manufacturing innovative products for investigating indoor environments to detect whether allergens are present. They specialize in evaluating whether conditions exist that could lead to asthma. They are co-headquartered in Charlottesville and Warminster in the United Kingdom. [1] It was founded by Martin Chapman in 1998.[2]

New research center
In March 2011, the company announced they would purchase the former Coca-Cola Building on Preston Avenue to convert it into a research center that would provide as many as 200 jobs. [3] The building was purchased for $2.5 million and will be used to manufacture allergy test kits.[2] However the deal fell through and the company had to find space elsewhere. [4]
