The interchange of I-64 and U.S. 29 is slated for improvements in the long range transportation plan approved by the MPO Policy Board in May 2014. However, no funding has been identified and the project has a $170 million cost estimate. [1]
The Albemarle Board of Supervisors is considering expanding the growth areas near this location to include an 82 acre parcel prompting many questions. [2]
