Hawkins-Wondree House

The Hawkins-Wondree House is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties, meaning any exterior changes or potential demolition would have to be approved by the Board of Architectural Review. The house is located at 418 Fifth Street, SW[1].

History

The one-story brick house was built in 1832 by local master builder and brickmason Allen Hawkins to serve as his home. [2]
