Frank Friedman became president of Piedmont Virginia Community College on November 3, 1998. He succeeded Deborah DiCroce. [1]
During 2014, he served as Chairman of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
Friedman will step down at the end of the 2021/2022 academic year. [2]

Biography
Friedmen has worked in the community college sector since 1977. Before coming to PVCC he served as executive vice president of Austin Community College in Texas.
He earned a doctorate in educational psychology and a master’s degree in experimental psychology from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Muhlenberg College. [3]
