Emmet Street Station is a commercial center under construction in the northeast corner of the intersection of U.S. 29 and Barracks Road. There will be 10,800 square feet of space. [1]

Riverbend Development is planning on building an 11,000 square foot shopping center by-right, meaning they will not seek a rezoning. [2] The project is called Barracks Row and will need to go through the Board of Architectural Review.

A site plan conference was held on June 15, 2016.

The Planning Commission recommended approval of the project on January 10, 2017. [3] City staff approved a site plan in March 2017. [1]

The first known tenant will be a Mediterranean restaurant called CAVA. [1]
