Eagles Landing is a 280-unit gated apartment complex located on 46 acres in Albemarle County that is marketed towards students at the University of Virginia and Piedmont Virginia Community College. In 2006, it was named as the "Best Student Housing Property Winner" by the Blue Ridge Apartment Council. During development, the property was represented by attorney Steve Blaine. It is managed by Hasbrouck Management.

Impacts on Charlottesville neighborhoods

Residents of the Fry's Spring neighborhood have complained that Eagles Landing and other surrounding complexes generate heavy traffic on Old Lynchburg Road, a residential street that connects this portion of Albemarle County with the University of Virginia. The developers of Eagles Landing had attempted to convince the City to reopen Sunset Bridge, but the City declined[1].
