The Charlottesville Open Government Alliance is an advocacy group formed in February 2012 that seeks to encourage transparency in local government decisions. [1]

The group's first public event was a press conference held on March 23, 2012 to announce their support for a lawsuit filed against the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority and others regarding the new dam at the Ragged Mountain Reservoir. [2] Members include former City Council candidate Bob Fenwick.
