Mildred Abraham is the founder of Book Baskets. The retired University of Virginia librarian was honored in 2013 by the Daily Progress as part of the Distinguished Dozen series. [1]

Biography
Abraham worked in the special collections library at the University of Virginia. She grew up in New York City and received a bachelor's in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's in library science from Drexel University. After retiring in 1993, she founded Book Baskets.
