Helen Cauthen will take over as the new executive director of the Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development on February 1, 2012. [1]

Biography

Cauthen was previously the CEO of Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation in Volusia County, Florida. One reason she has cited for taking the job is family ties, with her son attending the University of Virginia and her husband originally from Charlottesville as well. [1]

Prior to the TVEDC, Cauthen was the vice-president of the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance in North Carolina[2].

Cauthen holds a degree from the University of Missouri in Business Administratino (B.Sc.) and is accredited as a Certified Economic Developer by the International Economic Development Council[2].
