Zan Short is the founder of Party Parade, an organization that supports charities with small grants.

Zan Short was born in Houston, Texas, in the late 1930s. Between 1989 and 2008 her organization, the Party Parade, raised over $1 million for assorted charities. Short was recognized as one of the Daily Progress Distinguished Dozen in 2009 for her efforts in the community.[1]
