Redevelopment

Developer Brian Roy is crafting plans to convert the site into a mixed-use development. To do he will need a rezoning from the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors as well an amendment of the County's Comprehensive Plan. [2]

Supervisors granted preliminary approval, but Roy need the Federal Emergency Management Agency to agree to a revision of the flood map to allow the project to proceed. [3]
