Thomas Olivier moved to Albemarle County in 1981 and is an expert on biodiversity. He is a member of Albemarle County's Natural Heritage Committee. Olivier is also on the executive committee of the Piedmont Group of the Sierra Club and the Board of Directors for the group Advocates for a Sustainable Albemarle Population[1].
