We can't really specify "succeeded by" and "preceded by" for City Planning Commission because they are all at-large right? If I am right about that, it should be removed. --Bwheeler 10:29, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

I'm not sure if at-large is a technical exclusion to specific seats or not, but I remember one or two sources that I added a while back ( somewhere, maybe one of the new members; if I find it I'll report back) that stated one member specifically replaces another. I'm going on memory, sorry, but I think it's legitimate to leave it in. -- B.S. Lawrence 13:01, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
Our verdict is that there are no "seats" because there is no ward-based representation in Charlottesville. They are all at-large members of the commission. Just as a you don't succeed someone in a particular City Council seat.--Bwheeler 15:06, 10 September 2009 (EDT)
