Proper references

I think we should settle on what reference method we should use. Brian instructed me to use MLA7, which I've been using. You've been changing them to a different format. I'm fine with whatever format we select, but I'm just going on what I've been told. --Seantubbs 21:20, 16 September 2009 (EDT)

In this article's case, one was really badly formatted, such that no references appeared at all. Check out the diff for that (it's in the 3d graf). More globally, this old hand at wikipedia will go with what they say; See esp. "Any of these styles is acceptable on Wikipedia so long as articles are internally consistent." -- B.S. I like the simpler one that you use. I plug the info into a website and it spits out the citation. I will look at the one you put. I've been using easybib.com since the summer. --Seantubbs 15:15, 17 September 2009 (EDT)
I'd make another bid for having good {{cite}} templates. Someday I will try to crack open Template:Cite web, which I'd use if it worked. -- B.S. Lawrence 11:00, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
Someday was today. I've tried it, and I think it works. See Rivanna River for my test on Template:Cite web. You don't have to use it, but I will probably start. -- B.S. Lawrence 12:13, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
