• September 18, 2019: BOS defers application and sends it back to the Planning Commission

"This is an email update list for all of those who have signed up for email updates for the rezoning application ZMA2019-1, 999 Rio Road. This application went to the Board of Supervisors yesterday evening, September 18th, for a public hearing. The Board chose not to vote on the application, and made the action to defer and to refer the application back to the Planning Commission. This means that the applicant has the opportunity to revise their rezoning submittal (based on the Board’s feedback last evening) and submit a revised application to County staff. Next, staff will write a new staff report based on the revised submittal. The applicant will then return to the Planning Commission for a public hearing, and the Planning Commission will vote to recommend approval or denial. The applicant will then proceed to the Board of Supervisors for a public hearing, and a vote for approval or denial."
