Albemarle County is currently seeking funds for Tabor-Hilltop Pedestrian Improvements, a project that would improve community mobility in Downtown Crozet [1] The project could qualify as a Safe Routes to School project.

Project Description

"The purpose of this project is to connect pedestrians from Downtown Crozet to the Claudius Crozet Park. To provide ADA/pedestrian accommodations and crosswalks from Crozet Avenue to the existing sidewalk along Hill Top Street leading to the Claudius Crozet Park."

Status

  • July 24, 2019: The pre-application receives initial blessings from the the MPO Policy Board
