The Soccer Organization of Charlottesville-Albemarle (SOCA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1982^{[citation needed]} providing soccer leagues and development in the area. SOCA provides learning and playing opportunities for over 3,500 children and adults in the community^[1]. The executive director is Bill Mueller.
