Schilling announced plans for reelection on February 21, 2006[1]. On May 2, 2006, Schilling came in third behind Dave Norris and Julian Taliaferro with only 24.09% of the vote[2]

Candidates Votes %
David M. "Dave" Norris (D) 3,947 38.65

Robert S. Schilling (R) incumbent 2,460 24.09

Voters could cast two votes, one for each of the two seats available, hence the percentages do not total 100%.
