Rob Schilling is a former Charlottesville City Councilor and the last Republican to sit on that body. As of 2011, he is the host of a two-hour program that airs daily on WINA. He was first elected in May 2002 and defeated for re-election in 2006.
He is also a Christian musician who released an album called Sing a Psalm in 2003[1]. Schilling has also been a licensed realtor since 1985. [2]

Schilling announced plans for reelection on February 21, 2006[3]. On May 2, 2006, Schilling came in third behind Dave Norris and Julian Taliaferro with only 24.09% of the vote[4]
