The Rivanna Trail is a walking and biking trail that circumnavigates the city limits of Charlottesville. The majority of the trail is rustic single-track trail, although some parts are paved. In addition to the 20 mile main loop, a spur trail runs along the western bank of the Rivanna River north of Belvedere, and there are multiple smaller side loops, such as on around the Forestry Department off Fontaine Ave.

The trails are administered by the Rivanna Trails Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
