The Rivanna Trail is a walking and biking trail that creates a circumference around the city limits of Charlottesville. Some parts of the trail are paved, while others are much more rustic. A spur of the trail runs along the western bank of the Rivanna River north of Belvedere.
The trails are administered by the Rivanna Trails Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
