The Rivanna Greenway is a planned linear park in Albemarle County to follow the Rivanna River from Darden-Towe Park to Fluvanna County.

A 1,360-foot long section has been completed [1] , and the rest of the trail depends on the allocation of funding. The county owns much of the right of way, and a primitive trail currently exists in some locations though it has not been dedicated as an official park. Funding for part of the trail has come from the Virginia Recreational Trail Funds Program. [2]
