Richard “Rick” E. Moore is a district court judge for the 16th Judicial District.[1]

Appointments

Moore was appointed by the General Assembly's House and Senate Courts of Justice to take over a vacant seat on the Charlottesville Circuit Court with his eight-year term to start December 1, 2014.

Experience

Moore served as a deputy commonwealth’s attorney in Charlottesville and Albemarle County and as an assistant commonwealth’s attorney in Orange County before becoming a judge in 2012.[2]
