Richard Thomas Walker Duke, Jr. was a prominent Albemarle County jurist and civic leader in the turn of the twentieth century.
Biography
Son of R. T. W. Duke, Sr. and Elizabeth Scott Eskridge Duke. Married to Edith Ridgeway Slaughter.
Electoral history
- 1904; Judge R. T. W. Duke was elected to the City Council representing the First Ward. On September 1, 1904 he was elected president of the 1904-1905 City Council.
