Steve Landes(born November 15, 1959) is an American politician. He has served in the Virginia House of Delegates since 1996 and currently represents the 25th district in the Virginia General Assembly. Landes' constituencies include parts of Albemarle County, Augusta County, and Rockingham County[1]. He is a member of the Republican Party.[2]

Landes currently serves as vice chairman of the House Education Committee and is the first non-attorney to serve as Chairman and member of the Virginia Code Commission.[3]

Landes was legislative assistant to Delegate Pete Giesen 1988–1992 and district director and representative for U. S. Representative Bob Goodlatte 1993–1995.[4]

Landes was recognized as Legislator of the Year in 2016 by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. [5]
