Piney Mountain

Piney Mountain is a small (elevation approximately 1,090 ft.) horseshoe-shaped mountain in Albemarle County just west of U.S. Route 29 approximately two miles north of the airport.

The mountain gives its name to the Community of Piney Mountain, a designated growth area.
