Peter A. Stark

Peter A. Stark (1928-2017) is a former member of the Albemarle County Planning Commission.

The Board of Supervisors appointed Stark at their meeting on January 15, 1986. At the time, he was a resident of Canterbury Hills, a retired Naval captain and was the assistant vice president of student affairs at the University of Virginia. He was also a member of the UVA Master Planning Committee. [1]

Biography

Stark was born in Timmons, Ontario, on March 29, 1928. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. [2]
