Paige Barfield is the new clerk of the Charlottesville City Council, effective May 1, 2010. Barfield previously served as the executive assistant to the CEO of the UVA Investment Management Company (UVIMCO). She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia^{[citation needed]}.
