The former Monticello Dairy Building is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties, meaning any exterior changes or potential demolition would have to be approved by the Board of Architectural Review. The building is located at 946 Grady Avenue, but only part of the structure is protected. [1]

History
The building was constructed in 1937 and was designed by Elmer Burruss. As of June 12, 2012, it is the home of several businesses including Harvest Moon Catering. [2]
Redevelopment
Stony Point Design Build is planning on redeveloping the building in several phases.
