Molly Hardie
Molly Hardie, wife of Robert Hardie, is a prominent citizen of Charlottesville, a UVA alumni,[1] and a member of several important organizations in the region. On October 30, 2017 she was elected to the Board of Trustees for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation,[2] and as of March 11, 2021 she now acts as the organization's Vice Chair.[3] On January 5, 2023, she joined the council of the Focused Ultrasound Foundation,[4] a Charlottesville-based organization that seeks to build awareness and coordinate research into a medical technique that concentrates ultrasonic energy on diseased tissue. In addition, Hardie is Co-Chair of H7 Holdings LLC, an investment company that owns and manages Keswick Hall and Golf Club in Keswick, Virginia.[1]
Current Events
As a result of several donations to the University of Virginia's Athletics Master Plan, the newly-constructed Football Operations Center will be named after herself and her husband, following the approval of the Board of Visitors during their meeting on June 7, 2024.[5] [6]
