Linda Bowen is a former member of the Charlottesville Planning Commission and former chair and member of the Charlottesville School Board[1]. After serving for the board, she retired as chair on June 30, 2004[2]. Soon after, she became the board's clerk[3].
In 1995, the Daily Progress named Bowen as one of its distinguished dozen[4].
