The Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School is operated by the U.S. Army to provide training for its attorneys and other legal officials. It was established in 1951[1].

The JAG School, as it is known, is located adjacent to the University of Virginia School of Law in UVA's North Grounds. The school is not part of UVA, but currently[when?] leases a building that was built for it to use. Officials are currently planning for a 52,000 square foot new building or addition, but an exact location has not been found[2].
