Jesse Turner

Dr. Jesse J. Turner is the principal of Albemarle High School. He previously served as principal of Monticello High School from 2012 to 2017.[1] He will leave Albemarle High School to become principal of Buford Middle School beginning on July 1, 2019. [2]

About

Before becoming principal of MHS, Turner was a teacher at the Henry Avenue Learning Center and an assistant principal at Albemarle High School. Turner is a graduate of Charlottesville High School. After high school he received his bachelor's degree from the Virginia Union University, his Master's from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. from Virginia State University.
