Jason Crutchfield is the principal of Brownsville Elementary School in Crozet. [1]

Background

Before being appointed as principal at Brownsville, Crutchfield served as its assistant principal and also served as assistant principal at Henley Middle School beginning in 2007. He began his career as a teacher recruiter for Johnston County Schools in North Carolina. He was also a history teacher at Fort Defiance High School and was assistant principal for Stuarts Draft Middle School before coming to Albemarle.

Crutchfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia State College and a Master’s degree in Arts, Education and Administration from Marshall University.
