Hyland Ridge is a development under construction in the Pantops designated growth area of Albemarle County that is being planned and will be developed by Southern Development that will have 97 single-family units and 7 rural lots. It will be bordered by between the existing Franklin, Fontana and Ashcroft subdivisions, as well as the future Cascadia subdivision. The project was formerly known as Lake Ridge[1].

Delay

The owners of the land had asked for more time to plant vegetation on denuded portions of the land. The Board of Supervisors considered this request at their meeting on December 7, 2011. The project had been on hold in part because a right of way into the Fontana subdivision had not yet been acquired. [2]
