Hutchins Franklin Inge (1900-2002) — also known as Hutchins F. Inge — of Newark, Essex County, N.J.; Osterville, Barnstable, Barnstable County, Mass.; New Bedford, Bristol County, Mass. Born in Charlottesville, Va., April 16, 1900. Democrat. Physician; member of New Jersey state senate District 11, 1966-67; defeated, 1967. African ancestry. Member, Omega Psi Phi; Urban League; NAACP; American Medical Association. Died, in St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, Bristol County, Mass., March 28, 2002 (age 101 years, 346 days). Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

Relatives: Son of George Pinkney Inge (1859-1948) and Kate Virginia (Ferguson) Inge (1864-1941); married 1970 to Dorothy Helme (died 1996); nephew of Hutchins Inge (1855-1936).
