Human Rights Task Force

The Human Rights Task Force was created by Charlottesville City Council with the purpose of investigating the need for a Charlottesville Commission on Human Rights.

History

The Human Rights Task Force was created in February 2012.[1] The task force is charged with collaborating with organizations designed to address discriminatory practices, catalog discrimination complaints, provide referral services, and perform follow-ups to the complaints. The information collected will be presented to the City Council before the end of 2012.[2]
