The project has recently been split into two separate tasks because of problems obtaining easements around the Squire Hill Apartments. According to the MPO's project tracking update dated March 17, 2008, there are numerous liens on the property which is complicating the process.<ref>[http://www.tjpdc.org/agendas_and_minutes/mpoPoli/08_03_19/March_MPOProjectTracking.pdf "MPO Project Tracking Index, March 17, 2008"]</ref> The project is expected to go to bid in Spring 2008 with completion in Fall 2008.
