Harry J. Brown was a member of Charlottesville City Council who was elected on June 8, 1948. [1]


1948 election

Brown was a Democratic candidate for City Council in the April 6, 1948 primary. [2] At that time, he was a partner in a cleaning and dying works. [3] He received the third-highest vote total in the primary. [4] [5]

Brown placed fourth in the June 8, 1948 election for three open seats on the city council. [1]
