The Granger property is an undeveloped tract of land in Albemarle County that is owned by Riverbend Development. The firm is seeking to develop the property by-right and submitted a subdivision application in the summer of 2021. The plan was initially denied due to a need to fill in the flood plain for some of the access roads, a process that will require a special use permit. [1]

Riverbend has asked for an indefinite deferral in July 2016. [2]

Development of the parcel beyond by-right was to have included construction of the Stribling Avenue section of a Sunset-Fontaine Connector.[3]
