The Fry's Spring Service Station is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties, meaning any exterior changes or potential demolition would have to be approved by the Board of Architectural Review. The building is located at 2115 Jefferson Park Avenue[1].

The service station opened in the 1930's and was first operated by Haynes L. Settle before ownership was transferred to the Houchens family[2]

Restaurant

In the summer of 2010, a pizza restaurant and bar opened in the former station. The property is zoned for Neighborhood Commercial Center[citation needed]
