Friends of the Charlottesville Ice Park is an organization formed in May 2017 that is seeking to build an ice rink in the Brookhill neighborhood. Its first task was to keep the Main Street Arena in business while that structure waited for demolition to make way for the CODE building.

Completion of the new ice rink has been delayed due to slower-than-expected fundraising. Friends of the Charlottesville Ice Park group. [1] [2] [3]
