The Emergency Communication Center is a joint public safety project of Albemarle County, Charlottesville, and the [[University of Virginia. The ECC is an example of regional cooperation. [1]

Mission Statement

The mission of the Emergency Communications Center is to provide quality service to our customers in an expedient and professional manner while respecting the diversity of our community and recognizing that our employees are our most valuable resource.


Vision

"The Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center will be a recognized leader in Public Safety Communications."
