Harding received his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2015. He received his undergraduate degree in Government and Economics from the University of Virginia. He works the law firm Stone, Cardwell & Dinkin, PLC, specializing in criminal defense representation.
 
Harding's uncle is Albemarle County Sherriff J.E. [[Chip Harding]].
