Project details
This project sponsored by Albemarle County is designed to be a major north-south road that will connect Route 240 and Route 250 from the area around Western Ridge and the former Conagra plant to an area near Cory Farms. Eastern Avenue will traverse the proposed Lickinghole Creek Bridge. That project is required before Eastern Avenue can be completed. It is part of the Crozet Master Plan.
The contact for the project is Juan Wade, Transportation Planner, Albemarle County.
Status
It is not a priority on County’s Secondary Six-Year Improvement Program. It will be created as neighboring parcels are developed and as rezoning requests come before the County. As such, there is no public meeting at this time.
