Denver Riggleman

Denver Lee Riggleman III (born March 17, 1970) is an American businessman and politician from the Commonwealth of Virginia who served one term as the United States representative for Virginia's 5th Congressional District‎. He was elected in 2018.

Riggleman spent 8 months as an adviser to the Congressional committee investigating the January 6th Capitol Riot. On October 21, 2022, he talked about his book, The Breach: The Untold Story of the Investigation into January 6th on C-SPAN's Washington Journal.[1]

A former Air Force officer and National Security Agency contractor, Riggleman opened a craft distillery in Virginia in 2014.

2022 election

Former Republican Congressman Denver Riggleman supported Democratic Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger for reelection to Virginia’s 7th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.[2]

2020 election

Riggleman was defeated by challenger Bob Good in a drive-thru convention held at the Tree of Life Ministries in Campbell County on June 13, 2020. There were 2,437 delegates and Good won 58 percent of the vote. [3] [4]

As a Republican, he ran for his party's nomination in the 2017 gubernatorial election, but withdrew from the race.
