David Shreve is a former history professor at the University of Virginia and an expert in 20th century U.S. political history and national, state, and local economic policy. He earned his doctorate in economic history at Louisiana State University in 1995. Shreve is also a member of the Virginia Organizing Project Tax Reform Committee[1]. He sits on the Board of Directors for the group Advocates for a Sustainable Albemarle Population.
Shreve was appointed to represent Albemarle County on the MPO Citizens (CHART) Committee in April 2010[2].
